Math Olympiad

Math Olympiad will be open to 4th and 5th graders in the 2022-2023 school year.

"Mathletes” meet weekly with other 4th and 5th grade Caraway students and volunteer coaches. They will work in small groups on math problems that will require them to be creative and resourceful. They will sharpen their reasoning and logic skills and learn strategies that will give them simpler ways to solve problems that may seem hard at first glance. Math Olympiad will meet weekly on campus starting in October and continuing until Spring Break. Mathletes are also highly encouraged to practice at home as there will be a total of 5 after-school MOEMS division E contests throughout the school year.
